A long way back, during Google I/O, there was an option for developers to register to get an Android TV Dev Kit. I had long forgotten, until all of a sudden FedEx showed up with one for me. Thanks Google, I will start developing as soon as I can come up with some ideas!

I got mine to but it doesn't work. It says connecting to google then restarts the setup process. Does yours do that to?
Yeah, I was also at I/O and mine just randomly showed up today, no notification or anything. I can't wait to check it out!

Wow, it looks like a clone of the FireTV, but with MPEG2 hardware decoding? Thats the main reason why I returned it.
Out of curiosity, does the dev kit include HDMI passthrough? Are the specs for it published anywhere?
