Nexus Player Netflix Issues - Do they occur on ADT-1?

by horrorslice

Instead of randomly asking on comments, here's what I'm dealing with.

After I'm done watching Netflix, I go to home page and turn off my TV. Next time I go into Netflix, it just sits there with a grey screen. The only fix I've found for this so far, is to clear data/cache and relogin.

So, first question: Does anyone else's Nexus Player do this? Second: Does anyone's ADT-1 do this?

I'm thinking that maybe it's because of x86 vs ARM. If the ADT-1 doesn't do this, I'm ordering one ASAP. My wife refuses to do this everytime she wants to watch Netflix.

Thanks!

My Nexus Player does not do that, and I have been using it for a few weeks now. There are plenty of bugs, but that is not one of them.

ADT user here this does occasionally happen or it says it can't access netflix and when you got to select more info it's just blank.

I realized that besides Netflix I also couldn't play Wreck it Ralph from Google Play Movies, even when it worked fine while testing my Nexus Player on a 4k TV earlier. With this I suspect it's an incompatibility issue with my old 720p Panasonic TV, whereby the Player doesn't realize that the TV doesn't support 1080p but outputs it anyway.

ADT user here, happens every week or two. I'll just switch to my 360 for the night and it usually works again the next day.
