A simple question, the answer as far as I can tell is no. Have any new Android TV apps been released, or have any updates to the launch apps been released, via Google Play?
Not by sideloading and not by loading apps through the web play store. We are talking official, intended-to-be-Android-TV-apps.

I'm not saying that the way that Google is doing apps for Android TV is right, or the best way or anything of the sort. I am saying that Google is going to take their time with all of this.
They're much more interested in where Android TV is after 1 year than they are about where it sits after 1 month.
yeah I'm curious as to when we'll start to see some new stuff get dropped. Google needs to build some momentum in this area to drum up interest.
I heard that only the partner apps were going to be available at first. I have no idea how long this is going to last. It's been about two weeks since Google opened the doors to all apps and now they have a process to check and ensure that the apps actually work with a D-pad or game controller.
I would have to think that the gates will be fully opened by Christmas day since that is the day where the most downloads take place.
Yeah. I'm curious as to where this is going. It doesn't seem many developers are adopting Android TV.
Its very frustrating. We busted are butts to have the app ready for the nexus launch. They emailed us saying we passed quality control, and its still not showing up. You can install it from the browser, but I really wish it was in the market on the TV. I wish we just had some idea what the plan is. My guess is too many low quality or pirate apps. Getting on the roku store was auch easier experience.
