A 'what if' question so please bear with me. Let's say you've just bought yourself a new Sony TV running Android TV and you're happy as Sir Happy MacHappyington but woo what's this Nvida Shield set top box, nice! So after hooking up you shield to your TV what happens to the interface? Can I access the Nvidia Shield from the TV's interface and conversely can the TV (ie terrestrial) features be reached from the shield? At I/O last year they made a big deal of one unified interface for all inputs be it cable, ota, internet sources etc. So what happens in the above scenario?
In the above scenario... You just have Android TV within an input on a device running Android TV. Not really a big deal, same concept as plugging an Xbox One HDMI out into another Xbox One's HDMI in.
Useless really.
