Acestream and pushbullet work on Android TV (tested on Nexus Player)

Acestream is a peer 2 peer streaming app. There are usually a lot of live sports streamed on acestream. You can find the links on sites like www.livefootballol.com . Pushbullet is an app that let's you send links to other devices. My nexus player is rooted but that's not required for these apps and I don't know much about vpns.

So with my setup I can find a link to a live event being streamed on acestream using my phone/PC...etc and then send that link to my android tv with pushbullet. Then click the link in the pushbullet app on my android tv and it opens it in acestream. I could always just use chrome on the android tv to find the link but I find it easier to do on my phone.

For those of us Muggles, what exactly am I seeing here? Is pushbullet required to obtain the stream link from acestream? Is acestream a service that needs to be always on a pc? If you don't mind explaining I'd love to hear more about this set up.

Also is your nexus rooted? If it is is it possible to install a VPN on it?

Are you able to play Sonic 4 EP II? I see you have it installed. Also, you have lots of emulators, and you are rooted... I suppose you expanded storage, how's that working for you ? is it stable? would you recommend it ?
