Sling TV is finally available on Android TV/Nexus player and they're offering a 50% discount if you prepay for 3 months of service. Has anyone taken advantage of this? How does it work? Do they give you a promo code to use on the google store or do they sell the device themselves?

I took advantage of the promo and I was already a customer. I emailed them and asked them if I can take advantage of the promo and they said yes. They asked what what extra packages I wanted and emailed me an invoice billing me for 3 months of service and told me I should be getting the Nexus player in 3 to 5 business days.
When I did it a few months ago, they sent me a coupon code. I redeemed that on Amazon and was given my choice of the FireTV or the FireTV Stick. I presume its the same for the Player.
You bascally pay up front for 3 months of services, and they give you a discount on the product you choose.
