I was trying to cast HBO Go to watch Game of Thrones and Silicon Valley last night and there were all sorts of problems. Hitting play was not working right from my android phone. However when my roommate casted HBO from his iPhone it worked fine. Anyone else have this issue?
Didn't cast HBO but I did cast ESPN for a while. Much less hitches than with the Chromecast due to much better wireless I am sure. Also on a Nexus Player not Shield. Wish they had the native apps.
I was having similar troubles on Friday casting to my Nexus Player. Sometimes HBO Go casting is great, sometimes it's terrible. Sounds like there's an HBO Go app on the way though, so hopefully it won't be so finicky.
I'm having issues casting from the Disney Movies Anywhere app.. I've tried a bunch of extras, and I only get the loading icon.
I have constant buffering problems when casting from HBO Go to my Nexus Player. It's unwatchable. We have a Chromecast on the same TV now because the nexus player can't cast correctly. Speaking of Silicon Valley, the Nexus Player reminds me of Nucleus.
No, I cast from my computer and its significantly faster than a Chromecast. I even got the shows to start a few minutes early.
