GBA emulator question

by TaargusPlibt

What is the best GBA emulator for Android TV.

I normally use MyBoy, so I sideloaded that, but I can't seem to get into the menu to turn off the on screen overlay, is it possible I'm missing something here?

Or is there another emulator that you guys recommend?

I use all John emulators. They recently (like in the last couple days) fixed the Android TV issues. I love them because they sync automatically with Dropbox so I can exit playing a game on the Nexus Player and immediately resume playing on my G Pro (phone). I have the GBA, GBC, NES and SNES emulators and they all work great. They each cost a couple bucks but they are really a good series of emulators, try out the "lite" versions to see if you like them. You have to access the Play store from your phone or a computer to install (no sideloading, and they show up just fine in the leanback launcher though).

I absolutely love vgbanext. It handles all versions of gameboy, don't need to sideload it, and some of the best app support from the developer

You can fix your overlay issue in the Layout settings (there's even a button for "remove all"). I've been using My Boy with no issue, so if you've already purchased it, try that.

Is there one that does split screen 2 player?
