After owning a Shield TV for a week I can't help but want more. I am hoping Android TV becomes the standard in console operating systems. Imagine a device with the power of a ps4 or more. Comments?

Hopefully once 2k gets the ball rolling with their releases of Borderlands 2 and TPS, other fast-paced, richly designed games will get serious about coming to Android. As much as everyone loves valve, their games that were released on Android are great but not exceptionally rich, sprawling, or deep by today's tastes.
The biggest thing Android gaming lacks are big exclusives. There are a handful of good TV games, but nothing that seems absolutely essential to play that causes me to want one. This is a contrast to console games like Mario games, Titanfall, Skyrim, etc.
It's perhaps a lack of developer investment in making a solely TV-based game, or perhaps an attempt to target even low-powered devices with lowest common denominator code.
the ftp model of android games is the problem for me.
I realize there are ptp games, but the early abundance of ftp games that were absolutely lousy with ads and pay-to-win shit just turned me off the entire platform for gaming.
I am thinking along the lines of powering up my PS5 with android tv, loading up a game and playing with a friend on Xbox two also with android tv. I know it will never happen but i can dream cant I? Or is there some other limitation with android tv that I am not seeing that is based on the limits of android and not the hardware? Competition to Steam OS? Bridging the gap between pc and consoles.
I've never played a game on mine. My ps4 is used for that. I only bought the Shield console for 4k streaming. There are zero games that are made for this/mobile that I want to play.
I'm still in love with my Shield TV and still blown away by its capabilities.
