I think the dream would be for all video apps to integrate into the Live Channels app.
The one thing Cable has on OTT boxes is that the viewer doesn't need to know what they want to watch with Cable. Live Channels would provide that laid back, lets see whats on experience that on demand is missing. This is also the reason I watch Pluto.TV more than I do Netflix.
And the nice thing is small independent content creators could integrate into the same interface that the large networks would(assuming the networks take advantage.
