Hey guys, I just got a Nexus Player and I really like it, but I am having an issue where every few minutes my audio cuts out for a about a second and a half.
I'm going from my Nexus Player to a Sony receiver and then to my TV.
I've googled around and some people seem to be having the same issue, but I can't seem to find a reason why or any kind of solution.
Any ideas?
I had the same problem and it was super annoying... I tried a bunch of different HDMI cables and none made any difference so I took it back and got a replacement and mine has been fine ever since (hooked up through a Denon receiver FWIW), though I switched to a Shield TV shortly after it was released.
I have exactly the same issue with the Nexus player hooked up via my Pioneer VSX receiver. If I take the HDMI cable out of the nexus and put it in my Boxee box, no problem whatsoever. There's s long running thread about this on xda, but no solution so far...
Have you tried running straight to the TV and see if it still does it?
Isolating which device is causing the problem will help tons.
I run my player to the TV first then from the TV to a sound bar.
