MLB.TV premium broken after update

Today I updated the MLB.TV app on my Sony Android TV. It gets to the schedule but I can no longer watch live games or past games. I have tried resetting the app but get the same error about it being not connected to the network. All other apps work fine and my Roku plays the games just fine. Anyone else experience this after the update?

You are not alone, I am having the same problem... Resorted to casting the games which worked fine. What update are you referring to? I am on a nexus player.

Updated 2hours ago.. Saw this thread 30seconds after trying to watch a game :( i think I have an apk of an older version somewhere...

It looks like they already released an update.. Looked at "Dull description" and saw "Bug fixes" so i quickly downloaded it. No change, same black screen.. :(

Spent about 10min messing with mine just now since I couldn't get the feed of the BlueJays working. In the end I got it to work BUT I'm not sure which of 2 things I did fixed things. I uninstalled the app and re-installed, and at the same time I enabled location services.

So I'm guessing if you already have location services off, try the uninstall/re-install first.

Before this I tried clearing the data and cache of the app, rebooting etc and none of that helped.
