Is Netflix Build 897 not working for any of you?

Nexus Player on the latest 6.0 preview. Netflix Build 897 does not run, it only gives me the "Unfortunately, Netflix has stopped" error.

The newest version, 2.3 has broken on some preview devices, but it seems otherwise unaffected on older ones. My guess is something to do with permissions. They did just add support for GCM, which doesn't itself require dangerous permissions but could be related otherwise.

Works fine on 5.1.1.

I was having the same issue. Here's how I fixed.

  1. Uninstall Netflix v2.3.0
  2. Download this APK for v.2.2.1
  3. Install and enjoy.

Note: You will see an update for Netflix from now on in the Play Store. don't install it.
