Sorry if this is the wrong place for this but my shield pro is very slow at times and many of my play store games crash. I questioned this to nvidias customer service in a chat recently and was asked if i recently installed anything new and was told to resync my controller for better performance. nothing has changed on my end and i hardly have anything installed. does anyone else have this problem or know if their are any known issues that would cause the system to slow down?
Mine has a similar crawl to a halt problem that happened twice when I first got it. I think an update may have resolved it a while back.
How often is it? I associated my problem with coming back from sleep mode.
Does it run fine for a while after a restart?
A restart will sometimes help..I think. I am using the 500gb version and getting pixel ates recommendations..sometimes none at all Voice search will often take 30-45 seconds to respond (feels longer after exitig an app) and 5he controller is unresponsive at times Asphalt 8 ran fine for a while but now crashes very frequently and is generally slow. I definitely got the Fastboot menu during Upgrade 1.4 and have pixelated recommendations. The strange thing is that I was having some problems before the upgrade too. Either way I'm going to apply for a RMA and get a new unit. Thanks again for your help
Are you on the 500 gig pro? Are you getting pixelated recommendations? Your drive is failing and you need to RMA it to Nvidia.
