Great questions by the interviewer. Seems like they're too focused on smartphones dictating the market and ignoring the rise in cord-cutting. Or maybe they're just more content with selling $35 dongles. Sadly, not much excitement for Android TV in this interview.

*sigh*

Google is like that fickle friend that gets you all caught up in the fun, and when they get bored just disappears. And you promise that next time FOR SURE you won't get dragged in to their madcap schemes ... then along comes Android TV and out comes the wallet. Surely not this time, you say, oh Google? Must be in for the long haul with this one, finally ...?

And yet here we are again: another Google project withering on the vine, damned by faint praise from the top after barely a year. In the corner: Apple, sniggering.

will we see a merger between the two?

The fuck? Did she even do research? AndroidTV already has the casting receiver app. I feel like she knows nothing about anything she asked. Someone gave her paper with questions.
