If you are meaning the cast feature, you can always try a factory restore.
Had this happen to me, just unplug and replug from wall socket.
Talking about this on /r/nexusplayer and in another thread here..ota 6.0 seems to have broken Google casting
Cast Receiver just received an update yesterday. Try installing that and see if it works.
