NVIDIA Shield TV bootloops

My NVIDIA ShieldTV started bootlooping this morning. After a call to NVIDIA support, they determined that my device was defective. Not wanting to RMA, I returned it to Best Buy and did an even exchange.

Now, my new Shield TV is bootlooping again. My bet is on the 2.1 update. Is anyone having this same issue??

I've not experienced any bootloops with the Shield TV before, but now I'm definitely worrying about it

Are you using the 16gb or 500gb model?

I haven't had any issues with my 16gb model. I hope you get it fixed.

I had this, also several apps would stop working (specifically those on Tue sd card).... Turns out my sd card was dodgy.

It's because of the language, NVIDIA Shield has a software bug with some languages in the newest update. Change your language to English as soon as you've time. If you can't do it recover it to factory condition and select english at the setup
