If you're interested, I sideloaded the Nvidia Shield Hub app from the Shield Tablet onto my Nexus Player (using apkmirror), and lo and behold the Hub from the Nvidia Shield console appeared on my homescreen! For those of you who subscribe to Gamestream or who want to push the Nexus's gaming capabilities a little further, give this a try!
The games never play sadly, I own both a ForgeTV&Shield and am subscribed to the service, although everything runs smoothly on Shield, the games seem to stop loading at middle on Forge and all I hear is the opening sound from the game with an error presented.
I'd like to know if old versions of the hub works on other devices though, can't hurt to play few games in bedroom as well hehe.
Did you try playing any of these games, like did it work ?
Which apk are you using? The old, old one used to work, and gamestream was fine. But I tried the new one recently, and it would just force close. I also tried the old one again, and it also force closed.
Godspeed guys. I have both of these devices and I can't imagine the limited hardware of the NP will handle this well.
