Bought a Sony Bravia KD-65X8000C in China, need help

Question

Bought a Sony Bravia KD-65X8000C in China, it has an Andorid OS that does not have access to most American Apps that are banned in china, such as YouTube etc, any way I can install a custom OS or root my tv to access the Google PlayStore in America?

Any help would be appreciated, first experience with an Android device

i'd ask this question over at avsforums if you don't get a response here, you might be able to switch to us under the service menu and have access to the apps.
