If you are looking to buy one now it might be best to wait until black Friday to do so. Nvidia has had a special Shield sale every black Friday and based on those sales you won't save any money but you might get an extra controller and game thrown in.

So tempted to buy another  one, bought a Sony Android TV a week ago and it's so bad that I'm about to use the shield from my room and plug it into it to get my sanity back from it being so slow seriously Sony put a dual core cpu, tri core gpu and 1.5gb ram with 8gb storage which only runs and 1080p :( and struggles at that

Meh....  I'd rather use a controller since I mostly use it to play games & Unified Remote has a new app that supports Shield TV.  In my case, a physical remote is a step backwards.
