On the Listen Now tab of the Google Play Music app, Today's Biggest Hits isn't loading. All of the other Listen Now options are loading just fine. When I select it, all it does is show the background image that typically loads behind the playlists.
I checked Google Play Music on both my phone and computer and they both load Today's Biggest Hits just fine. I can even cast one of those playlists to Android TV but I can't access them directly through the TV app.
This problem exists for both the Shield TV and Nexus Player. I've tried resetting the app by clearing data/cache. I've tried disabling and enabling the app. I even tried a factory reset of the boxes, but the problem continues to persist. The Google Play Store shows that the app is up-to-date.
UPDATE (12/9/15): I stumbled upon the cause of the issue today when browsing Google Play Music on Chrome. When you click on a "mood," it loads up a list of playlists that you can choose from. However, there are some "moods" where the playlists show up as a grid with pictures of album covers instead of a simple text list. It's THESE "moods" that won't load on Android TV whereas the text lists load perfectly fine.
Looks like Google will have to update the app for Android TV to properly display the "moods" that have grids instead of lists.
As a workaround, I've been adding the "mood" playlists to my library and then I'm able to access them on Android TV under the "My Stations" page.
Yeah I get this issue quite a bit as well. It's almost to the stage where if I select a "mood" curated playlist (whatever those things are called) there is a 50/50 chance that the playlist will load. Very annoying.
