Been searching for this player for a few days since recommendations were good. Was $80.00 yesterday and noticed it just dropped to $50 so wanted to let everyone know who wants to snag one up. Hopefully i don't have any issues with it. Anyone know if there dropping support or coming out with new ones. Would rather get a new one if so.
I got mine for $40 from Groupon. It was regularly available at that price last month, so it's not a slick deal but it's a good one.
Its on sale for $49.99 at my Best Buy extremely often. Target also has them for $15, if you can still find them. I got mine for $25.

It's probably one of the best players to run Kodi. Without kodi, Nexus Player is absolutely worthless. Oh and make sure to spend $8 on a OTG usb or ethernet adapter.
I got it for $50 at Best Buy and it's a good price for what it is. It's lacking a few features and still feels like a beta (like most Google products), but it serves its purpose. I just wish I could get Amazon Instant Video. It's the only thing missing, in my opinion.
It's actively being updated. New apps are showing up all the time. No new device is being talked about at this time. Go ahead and order an OTG micro usb to full usb cable and a nice thumb drive. If you want to use Ethernet you will need a USB to Ethernet adapter. If you want to go with both of these additions you will need a powered usb hub.
