I own a nvidia-shield-pro and nexus player. After playing around with shield, I love that I can plug in headphones into the game controller and not disturb those around me. Does anyone know of an application that acts exactly like the nvidia shield remote control, where I can route the audio to it? I know Google has an android TV control app, but it doesn't give an option for routing audio.
If this kind of thing existed, /r/Chromecast would double over in shock. There's a post once a week about keeping the audio on your casting device.
The NP has a better chance since it has Bluetooth. That's going to be the smarter way of sending audio wirelessly.
