Hi, I just bought a sony bravia kd-49x8305c tv. The quality is great, but occasionally when I am playing ps3 or watching Sky the tv randomly goes to the home screen. The tv then shows a grey or black screen on each of the HDMI inputs and after going to the home screen and reselecting the HDMI input for 5-10 mins it eventually comes back. Does anyone else have this problem? Do I need to return the TV?
I have an x810c (US model) and this happened to me once after a power failure. The power LED on the TV was on as if I had turned on the TV. Pressing the power button brought up the home screen, but all of my HDMI inputs showed black screens. Going into Power Options and selecting to Restart fixed it for me and I've had no further issues since.
I'm seriously considering investing in a good UPS for this reason
this happens to my bravia x830c.
Essentially, sony released a shitty, expensive product and some of us were duped. I never imagined issues like this would happen to a modern tv.
Have you been keeping it up to date?
