My parents have an Sony Android TV and one of the things I've noticed is that you have to buy a separate remote control if you want to use voice search.
Is there not an app I can download onto their iphones that would let me use voice search from there?

There is an Android TV remote by Google that works with voice search and makes typing easier.
Connect the phone via Bluetooth and it serves as a mic.
Voice aside, has anybody tried using the ps4 media remote with the Sony Android TV?
The optimal placement of my centre speaker blocks the IR receiver on the TV.
I have a shitty logitech camera plugged in to my sony tv thinking skype or facebook video would work.. i was wrong. But i did find out that although the camera doesnt work the Mic on the camera does for things like voice search.

It's a bit overkill, it wants to be a complete media guide, which is useless to use along with my tivo, but at least I can voice search now!
