Media apps on Nvidia Shield?

by Azuresk-BINGE

So I was planning on getting myself an Nvidia Shield as an android TV, but the only reviews I could find are old (I'm talking about release time old) and they all said that apps like Netflix and Hulu are not available on the device.

Since those were all super old, I was wondering if people who own it could tell me if it's available on the device yet or not.

Any replies are appreciated.

You honestly couldn't find new info? I mean, if you just google "nvidia shield tv" then you get a link straight to the product page on NVIDIA.com that says exactly this:

Watch in 4K Ultra HD from apps like Netflix, YouTube, KODI (XBMC), and PLEX.

Then the second search result is a review of the device on Engadget from this past June.

NVIDIA Shield TV review: the best Android set-top box you can buy.

So, are you blind or is your search engine broken?

Google the phrase "nvidia shield tv netflix" or "nvidia shield tv hulu" or fucking anything else that sounds in the general vicinity of what you're asking about. Google has a way of finding what you're looking for without having to be all that specific, so it shouldn't be that hard to find this kind of information with just a handful of keywords.

Netflix is available, Hulu is not (at least in Germany). I'm talking about Play Store availability.
