So, I have that box and I've had it for a while. It was good at the time but now over time i noticed their isn't any custom support but for a finless rom. No 5.0 or anything else that I know of. Anybody have one or have a custom modded os? Maybe for linux or something
It's not an official "Android TV" device, but the Minix company has been pretty good about supporting their products, and a lot of Kodi users have been buying their boxes for a while. So, wrong reddit, but there is hope. Somewhere.

That's the problem with buying a product that runs the regular Android OS from a 3rd-party OEM.
Despite this being a Android box that you connect to your TV, it is in fact not an Android TV product. It's a different OS.
Your best bet is to search the XDA forums for custom ROM support.
