Hi all,
I was wondering if there are any Android TV apps (1st or 3rd party) that allow viewing content on Periscope. I know there is an AppleTV app, so I figured they would at least have Chromecast support.
Any idea if there are any apps that can do this or if they know one is being developed? I have no doubt this app will be big in 2016, and it would be a great addition to the existing AndroidTV and Chromecast lineup!

You can cast your entire phone but it won't look nice because most periscopers broadcast in portrait mode so you'll see huge black bars.
They will only do an app for Android TV when Android TV becomes popular. Apple has already probably sold more 4th gen Apple TVs than all the Android TV devices in existence, so we will have to wait.
There's not one currently in development, but you can grab the m3u8 stream and play it on a TV.
I have not heard of anything yet, but it would be a great extension of the app. Hopefully, they can figure out a graceful way of putting portrait video on a landscape TV...
