Marshmallow. I see that mistake far too often. Still, awesome to see that they're not being abandoned. It would be shitty to have a Smart TV platform that gets abandoned so soon.

Any sign of them releasing a refreshed version of the hardware that has a more powerful CPU with more RAM and more flash storage?

I've been looking into getting one of the Bravias with Android but the key to the issues that people are reporting seems to be too low of a spec on the hardware side.

It just seems crazy to actually base your TV platform on Android TV (as opposed to just treating it as an integrated STB that you can switch to) and then cheap out with too low a spec to run it properly.
