M8S+ Android TV: No Status Bar or Notifications

Hi,

I got an M8S+ android box for X-Mas. It is running 5.1.1, but there are is no status bar or notifications.

Anyone have a similar experience, I'm not sure if it's supposed to be that way or if there is a bug.

We don't know. You bought some Chinese box running Android, not an Android TV device.

I have been messing with these Chinese boxes for a few months now, the home screen launcher causes this, its intended. You can install other launchers that will give you a status bar and notifications.
