I've been running Phoenix on Kodi for a bit, but it's naturally limited and goes down quite a bit. I know of Pluto which is okay, but I'd like to get a full set of live TV channels to switch to, if some channel like ESPN on Phoenix goes down. I don't really trust the lists I've seen on Google search results, since they're meh.

Mobdro. Amazing app. Doubt its very legal though. You can download it from their site. You have to sideload it
i use kodi for shows and movies. Not really IPTV. Too unstable. I'll watch a game here and there though. Other than that I sprung for SlingTV. $14/mo for Tmobile customers and i use an antenna and HDHomerun for local channels.

Hdhomerun. Get an hdhomerun connect, an OTA digital antenna, install the add-on or the android app, voila, free OTA channels that aren't going to go down constantly for illegally distributing content.
