When you say Live TV apps, do you mean apps that integrate into the Live Channels app, or streaming apps?
Kodi doesn't integrate into Live Channels.
HDHomerun View if you have a newer HDHomerun, or InstaTV Pro if you have an older one. Once installed, you can use them as sources for the Live Channels app. If you can, make sure to run Ethernet into an OTG cable or you'll have a hard time.
