They added support for this a few updates ago but it was not working properly. Hopefully this fixes the issues. I will be testing when I get home. Not sure how it is handling TrueHD.

Has anyone noticed Plex is listed as a System App now - was that always the case?
They might have improved it, I don't use it but plex is now mainly useless on my Sony TV (works fine on shield) black screen and audio or just an error saying the connection isn't fast enough(wired) and changing to any lower resolution doesn't help for a number of shows which are pretty small files 1-2.5GB 720-1080p downloads

Ahem . Sorry, this is a big deal to me. No reason for me to run a dedicated Plex Home Theater box anymore... Now I can't wait to get Android Marshmallow.
Hey, does anyone else have an issue with Netflix bugging out their Android TV box? It can play movies just fine but when I leave the movie or pause it the screen goes black. Very bizarre. I'm hoping the next Shield update fixes that.
