How do you get your live news fix? Seems like any app I can find is simply clips -- not live news. Also, can't find a single fucking news app on Android (normal) that has live news AND chromecast support. For example, CNN. I can get it live on my 5" phone, but they can't be bothered to let me cast that shit to my TV.

CNN is a paid cable channel, available on SlingTV.
Free wise the CBSNews app has a 24/7 feed.
PBS NewsHour is far and away the best news program on TV in my opinion. A full hour of actual in depth news. Doesn't feel cheap nor is it over produced/dumbed down like what you'll see on CNN. Normal nightly news is rushed. Try it on the pbs app!
CBSN is awesome, definitely one of my favorites.
Bloomberg app has live tv, its more business news tho.
France24 for international news, you can also sideload NewsON which is very good for local news

If you're in the US, sideload NewsON and as others have mentioned [CBS News (Live 24/7)] ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.onemainstream.cbsnews.android&hl=en ). There's also local news stations that stream from their own websites.
PlutoTV has a few live news channels.
