Cheap remotes that support the Nvidia Shield?

by steamfishandrice

So I want to get maybe 4-7 bluetooth remotes for my Nvidia Shield so people can play multiplayer games on the Shield. I had a MOGA Hero Power that works fine with my Nexus Player and Nexus 6, but absolutely refuses to be found by my Nvidia Shield. Not a big deal, because I still use it primarily with my Nexus 6, but this raises the issue of buying a controller that potentially won't work with the Shield. Which sucks, because these remotes can easily be had for around $10.

So, are there any reliable BT remotes you guys suggest? $30 is the max I'm willing to pay per remote, anything over and I'd might as well just get some used Shield remotes.

I don't know if this would work, but you can buy a USB hub and plug in a bunch of wireless Xbox 360 controllers.

I've heard the fire TV remote works well.

the asus nexus player pad has been my best experience yet, but breaks your budget at 40. that said, if you bump up your budget just $10 you'll open up a lot more options. a generic T5 $21 would probably suit your needs, but its only in white on Amazon atm.
