Hey, my wifi does not play well with my shield tv. Every now and then I need to reboot to get it working again. So I wondered if just turning the wifi off would work, but it seems like the wifi settings on Android tv don't allow that.
Is there an app for Android tv or something I can sideload to expose those basic Android functions? Or would this require root because Android tv does not expose these function at all?
Try turning off beam forming on your router if it is enabled.
That's pretty weird. Mine works just fine. I'm using a dual-band Netgear N600. How old is your router?
Hey guys, obviously fixing the wifi would be better, but I am in a flat complex for 6 month and don't have access to the router. So no chance to tweak the settings. For example, all wifi Networks are on the same channel -. -
You could try using terminal commands to restart your WiFi there's a few different apps that can create shortcuts to do it. Just Google around should figure it out. Might need root fyi
Why don't we address the bigger issue. What's wrong with your WiFi?
