Hello,
I am writing this because I seem to have run into a wall where I can't seemingly find a solution to my problem. I recently bought a 4k television and have been using it over the past few weeks to gamestream games from my desktop to the TV over 4K and to also watch netflix in 4K. Tonight when I was going to watch a show I noticed that the Ultra HD category disappeared from my netflix lineup. I went into the settings and under HDMI I noticed the highest possible resolution output was 1080p60hz and not the 4k60hz it has been over the past few weeks. I can't think of anything I could have done to change this as it was working as of last night and the only thing I can remember doing is turning the device on and then off. Any input to this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Also if this is any help I am using a Samsung JS700 TV connected to a Denon AVR X3100W receiver which is then connected to the Android Shield TV.
Definitely try bypassing the receiver by plugging the Shield direct to the TV. If it works then it is the Denon causing it. If not then it could be the TV or the Shield. Tough to determine which without another 4K tv or another 4K source. If you can isolate it then go through all the settings. After that it is tech support/warranty. Good luck!
