Almost ready to take the plunge on the shield TV and had a question for ShieldTV/Kodi users out there.
When I right click on the PC, or long press on my current android box, I get the context menu where I can select "play from". How does this option manifest on the Shield TV - is it do-able on the controller, or do I need a keyboard & trackpad?

Shield Android TV, doesn't really have long press.
But latest Kodi release does have long press for Shield Android TV. Long pressing the select button on the remote or the A button with the controller will bring up the context menu in Kodi
Can't do it with the remote, you can do it with the controller however.
I don't remember the buttons exactly but it's in the box location if you know a ds4 controller.
It was just added to the latest version of Kodi, and works fine. I was able to do it for the first time last night, when prior to that I would have had to hook up a mouse.
Outside of Kodi, don't think so, but haven't tried.
