It just shows usb3005 in esfile explorer , when i click it doesnt show anything. Also in preferences it does not even show up, when i first updated the drive worked fine and was recognised by both the shield and kodi. But suddenly they stopped working and i can't seem to write on my sd card. Should i factory reset?
I just swapped a 16gb to the pro, once I realized how quickly I was filling the 11gb of usable space. I am currently traveling for work and plug my videos external hdd into it to watch movies at hotels at night.
I loved the 16gb version. I'm coming from Roku and thought this would be a nice little upgrade.
So far, after 12 hours with it, I noticed my Pro has the standby issue (does not wake and requires unplugging and plugging back in) and does not recognize ANY external USB - thumbstick or my WD external.
I know this is a new update, so I'm hoping Nvidia fixes it soon. Otherwise, my wife will be furious I bought a $300 bug test, instead of a $100 media player we knew worked.
I unplugged my drive, rebooted the shield, and plugged it back once it came back up. It then worked.
