New owner of XBR-65X850C and have a question about casting and see if other XBR owners see this issue.
I am able to cast YT, Play Music but I am not able to cast WatchESPN, Spotify. Is this the expected functionality? Is the casting feature in Android TV not have the same functionality as a Chromecast?
Certain apps are blocked from being casted to Google Cast devices that aren't Chromecasts. I know Spotify is one, I'm not sure about WatchESPN but I can assume it's definitely one of them.
Netflix is also another, however there's a Netflix app on Android TV. Trying to cast it will just open the Android TV app. If you're unfortunate enough to own a Razer Forge TV, trying to cast Netflix will not work at all.
I have one as well. It seems like the casting features just aren't nearly as up to date as a chromecast.
