I have the 16gb and the pro. 16gb can handle external hdds, while the pro shows as "usb3002" and can't access media.
Likewise, if the pro goes into standby (via CEC or over time) it needs to be physically unplugged to start back up.
I've read a few others had issues a few days ago, but haven't seen much since. Was there a workaround for either issue I missed?
I have the same problem with my HDD and still could not find a fix, but i read online that formating your drive to fat32 will work. But then again my drive cannot be formatted to fat32 so im still waiting for an update
The problem with fat32 is no files over 4 GB I can no longer use Archos Pro media player with the update and MX Pro Player now crashes upon opening I prefer not to use Plex or KODI and had better luck with the Metadata with Archos but now it won't read the external drive at all
I contacted Nvidia about the sleep of death. They did an RMA and I'm supposed to send it in for repair/replacement. No idea what happened with their update that they can't fix these with another software update.
I suggest you also contact Nvidia support.
