Google play music is getting it soon
In kodi there is a podcast add-on in the official repository which is included in the install. It is called Apple iTunes Podcasts. I too would prefer a native app but this add-on works well: http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Apple_iTunes_Podcasts
TuneIn I think is the closest to having the Android TV support and some podcasts, but not great.
Love Pocketcasts, and they have Cast, but the dev has stated that there isn't enough demand for them to make it work for Android TV.
