March Madness -- any solutions?

by irishtexmex

According to NCAA MBB's main blurb , the channels the games will be broadcast on will remain TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV.

CBS is fine as I get that through an antennae, but the other options are all missing for a cord-cutter (though I do have access to my parents Xfinity account for app authentication).

Just reaching out and wondering if anyone else has any solutions other than plugging in a computer with an HDMI cord--which is likely what I'll have to do I'm afraid.

Sling is what I'm using. It has TBS, TNT, and TRUtv which was just added as a free preview until the middle of April... probably related to M.arch Madness

Andrroid

Sling TV works great on both the Nexus Player and Shield TV. Not sure how it performs on the smart TVs that are powered by Android TV.

TNT and TBS come with the base package $20 package. truTV is usually part of a $5 add on but it looks like its on free preview until next month. Likely to entice users like you!

I haven't checked on my AndroidTV but my AppleTV4 has a really nice app called NCAA MarchMadness and it looks like it's going to have every game being played streaming on it and the ability to watch multiple games at once. One thing was weird though - no Comcast/Xfinity Login, you need DirecTV, Dish, Verizon, Cox, etc... It's a strange exclusion.

Anyway, AndroidTV must have that app, right?
