Anyone run into this issue? The remote works fine, except when you press the voice search button it doesn't recognize that you're saying anything. The button itself works fine, but the microphone doesn't seem to be picking up anything.
Also the gaming remote still works fine. No issues with that one.
Any help would be much appreciated!
mine does that when it is low on batteries usually
I recently purchased an Nvidia Shield Remote and I cannot get the mic to recognize my voice as well. I contacted Nvidia Chat support to get an RMA and they stated that this is a "high priority" known issue with some of the remotes and that the devs are working on it.
I don't totally buy this myself, but they advised waiting for a new firmware to rollout. No ETA when that will happen however.
Ha, I wish I could disable voice search completely. Totally useless for me.
happens to me now and then, a reboot sometimes fixes it, if not the good old unplug reboot works ;)
