So last week, /u/hosemaster posted about how Google Play Movies now provides a source for the Live Channels app. Mine finally became available and I noticed something. The channel is not "persistent." Any time you come to the channel, a new trailer will start. If you leave the channel and try to come back moments later, it will not pick up with the trailer you were watching, but rather it will start a new trailer.

I also noticed that the button to the right of the program guide button is a link to the app that is providing the source for the current channel. In the case of play movies, it indicates the name of the movie of the current trailer as well as it's rent or purchase price. Additionally, there is a persistent overlay on the screen with the movie title, release year, duration, MPAA rating, user provided star rating and of course, the price to purchase or rent via Google Play.
