Whoa, If this works I would not bother with Kodi again. Can anybody confirm if this works on the SATV?

Ah, the joys of petty shitheads. :(

Anyone else with a Sony Bravia, with Kodi already installed, getting remote communication server failed pop ups when starting SPMC?

Any advantages to staying with Kodi and not going to this fork? I've already uninstalled Kodi and started installing my scripts that I use the most.

I looked through the thread, couldn't understand the situation.

Guessing Kodi won't dump android support and will get a new head android developer and this SPMC will either die before it starts or take more than a year to become something different to kodi
