Is there a working .apk or fixes available for the BBC iplayer on Android TV? I've tried the Nvidia 1.0.37 package with seems to launch the website and the the standard BBC iplayer 4.16.2.1134 seems to install but I'm able to navigate the videos using the remote (seems to be smartphone mode?)
I've used it worked with a keyboard have not used it in sometime but the game controller d-pad can now be used as a mouse so try that if not hook up a keyboard via Bluetooth or usb
I could swear I had the app on my Shield TV one time. Pure Android TV too not the phone version either. Must have been when I was using a UK VPN because I don't see it any more.
yet to see any news about it, ID shoot BBC an email, the more people that do, the more inclined they would be to support AndroidTV, alternatively do some digging and get the stream url's and setup a tvheadend server
