Stream Media from Cloud ?

by magearden

Okay so I'm looking for a way to stream (without having to download) my media from the cloud (which at the moment is box.com) I understand that ES File Explorer can do something similar but the interface is hard to navigate sometimes without a mouse. I'm looking more for a slick media player built for android tv that you can easily navigate with a remote. Which is the best way to accomplish this, and how do I go about setting it up. BTW I'm using a nexus player.

Edit: also nothing that requires a server to run or forces you to pay some type of subscription fee (hinting at you Plex) :/

To fix ES, follow this guide

The older version works great. Kodi is also amazing for cloud streaming.. You do need to clear Kodis cache every once in awhile though..

Kodi can do this with a number of cloud storage services. I'm pretty sure Dropbox and Google Drive are options. I don't know about Box.com specifically, but there's a good chance that someone has made an add-on for that.
