I hooked up a USB microphone to the Nexus Player and it works great with Google now however I can't seem to find an option anywhere to enable always listening mode for Google now on Android TV. I currently have to trigger it with a key press.
Is it possible to enabled the always listening feature?
The feature is built into the Google Search App, so it's possible, but Google probably has the feature off on the Android TV version.
But that would be really cool. We switched to the Harmony remote, but I miss the voice search. It would be a Nexus Echo. Might have to copy you. Thanks
Always listening is hardware dependent. Unlikely the nexus player could do this even with a custom ROM.
I'd imagine on a custom rom you could do it, but I don't think on stock.
