Complete newb here. I've jailbroken many iPhones but this is pretty much my first Android device. I was following the instructions I found here but I seem to be stuck on Step 3 in Root Procedure.

It says > You will see a PLEASE WAIT … appear on the Shield TV screen. This will take several minutes. Do not be impatient! Let it finish.

My issue is, my Shield does not say PLEASE WAIT. Instead there is a message (hard to read because it's way off center) and at the bottom options to CONFIRM or go BACK TO MENU. And I can't choose either option. It won't respond to the controller or the USB keyboard I have connected. The shell just gives me "..." and I've been waiting for at least a half hour.

I don't know if I'm supposed to be waiting or selecting CONFIRM, which I can't seem to select even if I wanted to.

Can anyone offer any assistance? Can I just reboot it and start the process over at this point? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
